Thank you
for visiting us online. The men and women of the Florence
Police Department are very proud that the FBI has rated
Florence and the Shoals area as the 5th safest area in the
entire country. The dedication of our employees continues as
we strive to make Florence the safest city. We are committed
to Community Policing and efficient use of our resources.
The
rating of 5th safest city in the country has sparked
excitement in us to obtain our goal of Number 1. To reach our
goal we are fine tuning or Community Policing and Problem
Solving efforts. We are utilizing technology and resources to
their maximum potential through our focused crime
fighting/prevention efforts using computer statistics and
analysis.
All
of us at the Florence Police Department are committed to
keeping the City of Florence one of the best, if not the best
place to live, work, fish, play, relax, raise a family and
RETIRE!
